Traffic' is an upcoming Bollywood movie directed by late
Rajesh Pillai, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill and Divya Dutta. The
movie is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name.
A 12-year-old young lady needs a heart transplant quickly
and there is a donor. However, the crux of the story is how the cops will
manage to get the donor's heart to the hospital in time, through the city's
peak hour traffic!
The trailer is gripping and the tempo escalates as the
real problem of tackling heavy traffic to transport the heart to the hospital
seeps in. Manoj Bajpayee plays the traffic constable who takes up the onus of
battling the traffic. Jimmy Shergill shines through and as usual, Divya Dutta
embodies the pain and suffering of a mother who wants to save her child
brilliantly.
Though the movie was prepared in 2014, its release was
delayed. So, this gripping emotional thriller is now set to hit theatres on 6th
May 2016.
